What is Char Dham Yatra?
The Char Dham Yatra is one of the most sacred pilgrimage journeys in India, located in the beautiful Himalayan region of Uttarakhand. Every year, lakhs of devotees visit the four holy temples — Yamunotri Temple, Gangotri Temple, Kedarnath Temple, and Badrinath.
This sacred journey is believed to cleanse sins and help devotees attain Moksha (Salvation). The Char Dham Yatra usually begins from Haridwar or Rishikesh.

- Yamunotri Temple is dedicated to Goddess Yamuna and is the first stop of Char Dham Yatra.
- Gangotri Temple is dedicated to Goddess Ganga. The holy river Ganga originates from Gaumukh Glacier.
- Kedarnath Temple is one of the 12 Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva and is located at high altitude in the Himalayas.
- Badrinath is dedicated to Lord Vishnu and is the last destination of Char Dham Yatra.
